In memory of Fallen Deputy Larry Henderson
Designed to pay tribute to his signature “snake bite”, fellow officers have designed shirts to honor his End of Watch on May 2nd, 2025.
Though tears may fall, and sorrow lingers,
Your legacy echoes, in our grateful fingers.
The "end of watch" is a somber phrase,
But your memory shines in countless ways.
Deputy Larry Henderson joined the Sheriff’s Office in June of 1991 and retired in December of 2024 with 37 years of service. During this time he wore many hats with the organization, Dive team, HCPA SWAT, defensive tactics instructor, FBI joint terrorism task force, and his main passion the Hazardous Devices Unit. Larry served on the HDU for 23 years, longest active member with the Hamilton County Sheriff’s office. Larry was also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, something he proudly showcased. To try and put into words what Larry encompassed would be a tale best served over a cold one, so grab a chair and help keep Larry’s memory alive and the laughs flowing.
